We MUST Save Our Home!
Greetings Playa Choir!
It was rough missing the playa this year, and we certainly don’t want THAT to happen again. So we’re joining up with the rest of the Burning Man community to SAVE BLACK ROCK CITY, and we’re hoping you can pitch in for the cause.
Our time in BRC gives us that irreplaceable mental reboot, the permission to be our most creative selves, and the inspiration to be our best selves, while surrounded by brilliant and amazing people from around the globe. The world needs that now more than ever – wouldn’t you agree?
We know times are tough for everybody right now; the pandemic that won’t let up, a ticking clock on irreversible climate change, and we’re all in a world of pain, confusion and mistrust. Oh, and the election…
If the virus never happened, think about the money you would’ve gladly spent getting to Burning Man this year. Will you give a fraction of that to this cause? Whatever you can pitch in — even $5 or $10 — will make a difference. Everyone who’s ever camped with us in the S.A.T.B. Village (Singers At The Burn), or sang in the Playa Choir or in our sister camp, Acapplaya – all of you know this: From small contributions, great things happen. Our growth and accomplishments since 2013 are a wondrous testament to the power you hold in your hands. But all that will be entirely wasted if there’s NO HOME TO GO TO!
If you can’t make a donation, that’s ok, we completely understand. You can still help out by sharing this campaign with your friends, co-conspirators and network. Let’s show them what the Playa Choir has done in the past, can certainly be done now and in the future.
